PharMerica recently held ribbon-cutting events to commemorate the opening of new facilities for two existing pharmacy operations in Raleigh and Washington, North Carolina.
Raleigh
The PharMerica pharmacy in Raleigh has relocated to an 18,000-square-foot facility designed to enhance efficiency through an improved layout and expanded capacity. The pharmacy continues to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, employs 56 team members, and fills approximately 50,000 prescriptions each month for more than 6,000 patients.
The Raleigh location serves skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and group home settings, including programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs.
Washington
Express Care Pharmacy in Washington, North Carolina, has relocated to a new 22,000-square-foot facility that consolidates the pharmacy, billing operations, and information technology teams into one location to support future growth.
The Washington pharmacy employs 100 team members from Pitt, Beaufort, and Martin counties and fills approximately 60,000 prescriptions each month. It supports more than 7,600 patients across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina in assisted living communities, group homes, family care homes, children’s homes, and other community-based settings.
