StepStone Family & Youth Services was featured on WPSD’s Mug Monday segment, showcasing StepStone and raising awareness of the need for foster parents.
The demand for safe, supportive foster homes, especially for teens, continues to increase. In 2025, StepStone served twice as many children as in previous years.
“Keeping children with their siblings is a really big mission and teens always deserve a home, too,” said Taylor Clayton, program director at StepStone’s Benton location. “They’re just kids in a bigger body – that’s it. They deserve the same love as our younger kids do.”
Mug Monday is a weekly showcase of NBC affiliate WPSD, spotlighting local organizations, events, and volunteer opportunities in Western Kentucky.
