BrightSpring Health Services was honored to be a presenting sponsor of the UPS Plane Pull this past weekend, which benefits Special Olympics Kentucky (SOKY) and the 8,900 athletes across the state of Kentucky. During the event, teams of 20 take turns to see who can pull an 124,000-pound UPS Boeing 757 cargo plane 12 feet in the shortest amount of time.
BrightSpring’s plane pull team, along with hundreds of BrightSpring employees, spent a majority of the summer fundraising for the event and raised a total of $22,700 for SOKY. The fundraising efforts earned BrightSpring Health Services the “Top Fundraising Team” title for the event. The entire event raised more than $85,000!
This was the company’s 12th consecutive year as a presenting sponsor of the UPS Plane Pull and the first year sponsoring with the new BrightSpring Health Services name. This year is also the 50th anniversary for Special Olympics.
