BrightSpring Employees Volunteer at Gilda’s Club

BrightSpring Health Services / December 3, 2018

Members of the human resources & communications teams at BrightSpring Health Services recently spent an evening cooking and serving dinner for cancer patients, survivors and their families at Gilda’s Club Louisville.

Gilda’s Club, a national organization supporting people with cancer, has 38 community affiliates operating throughout North America. Gilda’s Club was founded by actor Gene Wilder, broadcaster Joel Siegel, singer Mandy Patinkin and psychotherapist Joanna Bull in 1991. The group named the organization in tribute to Wilder’s wife and Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. Gilda’s Club Louisville opened its doors 2007 and offers support groups, networking opportunities, social connections, cancer education, lifestyle resources, referral programs, and much more.
