Caregiver Cecilia Baker has been helping an individual to live his best life in Dublin, Georgia.
The individual, whose name is Maryland, has a couple of medical issues and has struggled to maintain a healthy diet for many years.
Cecilia has served as Maryland’s aide for quite some time. She does an excellent job caring for him – taking him to doctors’ appointments, communicating concerns and making sure he eats well. In fact, she has done such a splendid job that staff from the client’s doctor’s office have complimented how well Maryland’s health has improved since she began caring for him.
Cecilia recently had to take a brief medical leave. Maryland was devastated and counted down the days until she returned. Cecilia called daily to ensure he received proper care during her absence.
“This really showed us how Cecilia values and cares for her client,” Client Service Supervisor Shannon Timmons said. “For her to call and check on her client, even from the hospital, speaks volumes.”
