Steve Zeller

Steve Zeller is chief development officer for BrightSpring Health Services. Zeller oversees the company’s merger and acquisition (M&A) activities and proposals team, as well as supporting a wide range of organic growth and business development initiatives.

Zeller brings years of experience in M&A, business development, operations and legal experience to his role.  Prior to joining BrightSpring, Zeller was chief operating officer of Arcadia Health Care, a health care services provider. Prior to that, he served as President of Weil-McLain, a leading supplier of commercial and residential heating products. Zeller spent nearly ten years living overseas serving as the Managing Director of Newage AvK SEG (now Cummins Generator Technologies), a global supplier of power generation equipment. Prior to moving into operations, Zeller served as Vice President of Law and External Affairs for Cummins where he oversaw all legal, governmental relations and public relations activities. Zeller started his career at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago. Zeller’s M&A background spans from many transactions and his involvement in/leadership of has evolved from operations, legal and business development perspectives.

Zeller earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the College of William and Mary and his Juris Doctor Degree from Indiana University School of Law. Zeller has been a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and is an active supporter the Louisville Downtown YMCA.
