BrightSpring President of Home Health Care and Rehabilitation Services Named Among “20 People to Know” in Aging Care

Home Health Care / June 21, 2019

Congratulations to BrightSpring President of Home Health Care and Rehabilitation Services Rexanne Domico, who was named among Louisville Business First’s list of “20 People to Know: Aging Care.”

Louisville is home to the largest cluster of aging care businesses in America. In addition to the industry’s major players, the city is home to hundreds of smaller nursing homes, home-based health caregivers and hospice and senior-living service providers. Together, these businesses employ thousands of professionals and produce more than $50 billion in annual revenue, according to a Forbes article, which highlights how Louisville is solidifying its place as the “Aging Care Capital of America.”

Business First created the “20 People to Know” list to introduce readers to people who are achievers in their organizations. The “Aging Care” list particularly showcases 20 Louisville-area professionals who are shaping the aging care industry.

“We facilitate a great service and our work makes a difference daily to people who depend on us,” said Domico when asked what she likes best about her work. “It is knowing that we facilitate all that through our work each and every day that drives me.”

The publication also asked Domico to describe the changing landscape as more baby boomers require aging care.

“The demand will increase as well as the overall knowledge and acceptance of the type of services that can be provided in the home,” Domico said. “ This generation will continue to need both skilled and personal care health services in growing numbers and will be more demanding about the desire to receive them in the home.”
