This week, we recognize Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week. Abode Care Partners Director of Quality Assurance Rita Munna has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Louisville, KY.
Rita worked to update the processes and policies for quality audits for the primary care teams. She helped devise and implement a new systematic approach for monitoring quality and compliance related to documentation by frontline nurse practitioners and physicians. The new process also curates feedback and improvement plans in partnership with supervisors.
Additionally, Rita reviewed ongoing requirement changes by the regulators and made sure to incorporate any updates into formal training programs that she led. She also worked with individual practitioners and physicians for performance improvement around high-quality documentation and coding. Compared to the third quarter of 2023, 2024 compliance scores reflected an overall improvement of more than 10%.
