This week, we celebrate National Nurse Practitioner Week. Abode Care Partners Nurse Practitioner Whitney Lindsey has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Texarkana, TX.
Whitney provides care at Cornerstone Retirement Community, and she was recently selected to be featured in an interview about the secure Memory Support neighborhood within the facility. This video is used to help others understand the essential role an environment plays in the well-being of patients.
Whitney says, “Being a nurse practitioner is more than a career for me – it is my ministry. Working in long-term care allows me to build trusting and meaningful relationships with elders and the staff who support them. I am able to walk alongside individuals and families through complex health challenges, offering guidance, compassion, and a steady presence.”
