All Ways Caring HomeCare Caregiver Kalah Franklin has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Winter Park, FL.
Kalah makes sure to include her client’s family in her care. She leaves updates about her client for their children, and she has built a trusting relationship with both the individual and her family. When her client’s health started to decline and she could no longer transfer out of bed safely, Kalah did some research and found out that the hospice service would provide a Hoyer lift. Now the individual can spend time with family while sitting up and out of bed. This has solved many challenges and improved the client’s quality of life.
Kalah goes above and beyond to support the clients she serves. She teaches English to her clients who may have language barriers. She also took the time to learn some Vietnamese in order to effectively communicate with a different individual. Kalah regularly researches different cultures to better understand who she is serving in order to provide high-quality and inclusive care.
