All Ways Caring HomeCare Customer Service Manager Mataniu Tualaulelei has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Sacramento, CA.
Mataniu, known as Niu, started her career with All Ways Caring in January. Only a few short months later, Niu was instrumental in saving a client’s life.
The client, who is also a veteran, was not answering his door for his scheduled caregiver. The employee called to ask for help, and Niu became concerned. She immediately left the office and drove straight to the client’s home.
After banging on the door, Niu could hear a faint voice calling for help. She took charge, dialing 911 and aiding first responders as they found and provided care to the individual. She then remained at the home with the caregiver and Direct Client Supervisor, and the three of them worked together to clean the client’s home for his return.
Niu, thank you for demonstrating capable Leadership in an emergent situation. Your compassion towards clients and sense of urgency in providing care help all those you support to live their best lives.
