Amerita – Greater NY Team

The Way We Lead / October 14, 2025

Amerita Warehouse Coordinators Marc Laluz, Devin Duiguid, Albert Rodriguez and Bridgette Amoako, Warehouse Coordinator Lead Jake Tanis, Warehouse Manager Andre Hague, Pharmacy Techs Flavio Mejia and Sheyla Nunez, Pharmacy Operations Manager Peter Franklin, and Director of Process Improvement Melanie Green have been Working Smart and Doing Good in Totowa, NJ.

Following a one-day move into a new site, the team recognized that their pharmacy flow wasn’t as efficient as it could be. Instead of accepting the status quo, they joined forces with Melanie to reimagine their workspace. By that afternoon, shelves were moving, supplies were being reorganized, and opportunities for improvement were being identified in real time. Even amidst the whirlwind of activity, the production team continued to fulfill patient orders with precision and care, demonstrating unwavering dedication to both quality and safety.

The results spoke for themselves: a more efficient workflow, a safer environment for staff, and a new sense of energy and pride within the operation. Team members from across the pharmacy came to see the transformation in action. What began as a process improvement conversation became a testament to what teamwork, enthusiasm, and shared purpose can accomplish — proving once again that when this team collaborates, excellence follows.

Thank you, team. You know your business and Get Going to ensure you can provide the best possible service to your patients. The collaboration displayed throughout this process demonstrates your commitment to helping others live their best lives.

WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
