Hospice of North Alabama Community Liaison Jenny Reed has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Florence, AL.
Jenny understands the work needed to be effective in connecting those in need to hospice services. She goes the extra mile each day by working smart, making extra calls, and following up with referral sources, referral families, and her clinical team.
Part of what makes Jenny successful are her abilities to adapt to her surroundings, think outside the box, and act on her passion for helping others. Several years ago, Jenny began dressing up as the Grinch for Christmas and making visits to local long-term and assisted living facilities. This has become a tradition the community looks forward to annually.
Director of Business Development Hayley Lamberth says, “Your heart will grow three sizes watching the love that Jenny pours into our patients and her community. Seeing patients light up like a Christmas tree when they see her as the Grinch is such a heartfelt reminder of why we do what we do and the LEGACY that we can leave behind. She embodies this in all that she does, not just at Christmas.”
Jenny, thank You for setting an example and going above and beyond to spread joy and comfort in your community during the holiday season. You are an example of dedication and compassion for your team, and the work you do is helping all those around you live their best lives.
