Pate Rehab – Paulina Mendoza

The Way We Lead / March 6, 2025

Paulina Mendoza, Rehabilitation Technician with Pate Rehab, has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Fort Worth, TX.

Paulina won this year’s Ben Hayden award, recognizing her professional achievements and commitment to the Pate values of relationship, empowerment, integrity, and compassion.

Paulina is passionate about advocating for patients and training them to manage their health conditions, reducing their risk for recurrent injuries. She works with individuals to teach them how to check their own blood sugar and blood pressure. They record these results to share with physicians during appointments, better equipping them to make decision about their own care.

Special Project Manager Mary Kathryn Tucker says, “Paulina has been highlighted in recent satisfaction surveys and recognized by a former patient as going above and beyond to assist them when they lacked family support and technology skills. She spent time with him before and during his treatment day to help him navigate the process of applying for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits and food stamps. Her commitment to ensuring the application was completed accurately not only eased the patient’s burden but showcased her deep care and compassion for those she serves.

Congratulations, Paulina! Thank You for being an example and embodying both the core values of Pate Rehab and BrightSpring. Through your continued hard work both on the front line and behind the scenes, you are helping all of those supported by your operation live their best lives.

WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
