Rehab Without Walls – Angie Lankford

The Way We Lead / December 9, 2025

Rehab Without Walls (RWW) Physical Therapist Angie Lankford has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Irving, TX.

Since joining the RWW team in 2015, Angie has been enthusiastic about helping neurological patients pursue their goals through meaningful, real-life experiences at home and in the community. She feels honored to work with what she calls “prime-of-lifers” – people who are actively engaged in their work, families, and daily routines until an unexpected event changes everything.

Angie says, “As therapists, we have the opportunity to reintegrate our patients back into the community to not only improve their physical function but support them through the benefits of nature and community.” She has learned to set a goal, evaluate her starting point, and build a progression to achieve it by breaking down the task and continually assessing her progress. That is what she does for her patients; whether it’s learning to walk after hemiplegia due to a stroke, or when she was learning to handstand walk at 40 years old, the principles remain the same.

Thank you, Angie. By creating a people-focused Environment centered on community participation, you help patients accomplish their goals and live their best lives post-injury.

WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
