Rehab Without Walls – Korey Davison

The Way We Lead / August 15, 2024

Rehab Without Walls Shift Leader Korey Davison has been Working Smart and Doing Good in San Marcos, TX.

One student that Korey supports has severe nonverbal Autism and was invited to walk the stage with his graduating class at the local high school. The student is known for having unpredictable meltdowns in the community, which made many hesitant to bring him to the event.

Knowing the student’s parents were flying in from out of state for the occasion, Korey stepped up and said he would be in charge of supervising the individual during graduation. He came in during his free time to work with the student, ensuring he had a nice haircut and was well-dressed in his cap and gown.

With his parents proudly watching, and Korey by his side, the student successfully walked the stage with his class. His parents were moved to tears, thanking Korey for providing them one of the best experiences they never thought they would have with their son.

Korey, your positive Attitude allows you to see the possibilities in each person you support and helps them reach their goals. Your care for each individual and their family members is evident through your work each day. Thank you for your commitment to helping others live their best lives.

WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
