Rehab Without Walls – Saginaw, MI, Team

The Way We Lead / June 12, 2025

The Rehab Without Walls (RWW) Saginaw, MI, team has been Working Smart and Doing Good.

In 1997, Randy was working as a police officer when he was involved in a head-on collision, causing a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other injuries affecting his right side. Despite working with other clinics over the years, he had not seen significant improvements. Randy began treatment with RWW in 2022, but he was initially hesitant that he would be able to reach his goals.

Physical Therapist Chase Hansen helped Randy with both his recovery and motivation. Randy described Chase as an empathetic individual who took the time to understand him. Theresa Mead, Physical Therapy Assistant, was also heavily involved in his improvement and helped him step out of his comfort zone.

Randy stated that his RWW Speech Therapist Kayla Gordon was one of the only speech therapists he had seen over the years who engaged in conversations with him rather than simply reading off papers. He spoke highly of his entire team, and said he felt comfortable to discuss any struggles he faced while still being able to joke around and have fun.

Prior to working with RWW, Randy could not safely walk on ramps or step onto curbs. Now, he can confidently walk on ramps while carrying items in both hands, safely navigate curbs without tripping, and use stairs. His balance also improved, allowing him to put away dishes and safely handle objects while moving.

Thank you, Saginaw team! Your positive Attitude and effort to see the possibilities in each patient helps all those you support to live their best lives.

WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
