ResCare Community Living Direct Support Lead Crystal Griffith has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Anna, IL.
Crystal goes above and beyond to make sure the clients she works with are equipped with the tools they need to reach their goals. Currently, she is helping one individual with his reading skills and spends time with him each day while he reads to her. Crystal also helps clients with budgeting for activities and dates with significant others, and she plans and organizes events that they want to attend.
One individual Crystal supports was very homesick, and his family lived five hours away. She took him to see his family, letting him visit for several hours until he was ready to go back home. Crystal visited with the family as well, and everyone had a great time. This trip has now become an annual event, and Crystal enjoys facilitating an event that helps her client maintain important family connections.
