ResCare Community Living Family-Based Care Specialist Kelsey Thomasson has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Atlanta, GA.
In the state of Georgia, the process of opening host home providers and Waiver homes is lengthy. After joining the ResCare team in 2014, Kelsey began establishing working relationships with the State and the Department of Community Health, collaborating with them to meet the operation’s goals month-over-month.
In the past year, Kelsey has opened 13 host home providers, and she has 14 more applications in process currently. This has contributed to consistent growth in the Atlanta census, enabling the team to provide high-quality care to more individuals within the community. Kelsey’s proactivity ensures she is always seeking additional opportunities for the Atlanta operation to grow and provide support.
