As we continue to acknowledge DSP Recognition Week, we celebrate ResCare Community Living Direct Support Professional Rosario Herrera, who has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Arroyo Grande, CA.
For the past 28 years, Rosario has worked to touch the lives of clients and staff. She treats individuals with the dignity and kindness they deserve, focusing on their abilities rather than their disabilities. Her approach fosters independence, confidence, and joy within those she serves.
One of the ways Rosario shares love with others is through her cooking. She is known for preparing homemade meals with care, not only nourishing her clients, but also inviting them to take part in food preparation. In doing so, she transforms mealtime into a meaningful shared experience that promotes connection and skill-building.
