Community Living Regional Director Sheryl Zerbe is Working Smart and Doing Good in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sheryl is the winner of the 2022 Community Living Regional Director of the Year Award.
In 2021, Sheryl led her team to impressive key performance outcomes. Her team’s focus on quality resulted in an average site review score of more than 90% for the entire operation. Under her Leadership, they also earned a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Sheryl is viewed by external stakeholders as an expert in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services. She serves on multiple boards and works to drive change in the industry. As a result of her reputation, she often has the opportunity to speak with legislatures as a representative of the company to advocate for our team members and our clients.
“Sheryl is a leader who is engaged daily with her team. She works with them to identify challenges and then creates action plans to remove barriers and achieve optimal results,” said Regional President Blake Buckman. “She continues to shatter expectations in all aspects of her business.”
