ResCare Community Living Site Supervisor Sonia Robledo has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Austin, TX.
After arriving home from picking up her client, Tranesia, at Dayhab, Sonia noticed that she was not acting herself. Knowing of Tranesia’s medical condition, including a shunt in her brain, Sonia called her mother, Ramona, to inform her something was wrong. She then dialed 911 and called ahead to Seton ER in Round Rock to inform them they were on their way.
By the time Tranesia’s mother arrived in Houston, the medical team had determined that surgical intervention was needed, and Tranesia had a successful shunt replacement surgery the next day. Sonia worked closely with Tranesia during her recovery so that she could promptly respond to any needs, and she kept Ramona informed throughout the process. Ramona said, “Tranesia is blessed to have a person like Sonia in her life! I love this company and how much they care about my daughter’s health.”
Thank you, Sonia. Your Communication throughout a challenging situation ensured the best possible outcome. Your quick thinking and continued advocacy have allowed Tranesia to continue living her best life.
WORK SMART. DO GOOD.
