ResCare Community Living Direct Support Professional Terrell Presnall has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Lapeer, MI.
Terrell is a recipient of the 2023 ANCOR DSP of the Year Award for Michigan. He comes to work every day with a smile and an enthusiastic attitude, which is contagious to everyone around him. He takes the time to listen to the people he supports and will do whatever they ask – from playing ten rounds of cards to spending an hour at the grocery store while they pick out the perfect razor.
Terrell is dedicated to the total wellbeing of the people he supports. During the pandemic, he volunteered to stay at the home with the residents. He asks questions, takes the initiative to advocate for clients, and thinks outside the box by putting himself in others’ shoes. Terrell focuses on helping the people he supports achieve their goals by motivating them, leading by example, and making sure to always push forward when it gets hard.
