ResCare Community Living Executive Director Rhonda Buxton has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Olney, IL. Rhonda was recognized as Executive Director of the Year at this year’s Community Living Divisional Awards presentation.
Rhonda is a true leader in the industry, and she is well-respected by her staff, peers, guardians, and outside agencies alike. The Illinois operation successfully rolled out TMP last year and received a 96% on their quality review. The state regularly receives high praise from both internal and external surveyors, which is a direct reflection of Rhonda’s leadership within the operation.
Rhonda is knowledgeable in all aspects of her role. She is an expert in Illinois Waiver rules and regulations as well as all things ResCare. Rhonda also sets an example for other Executive Directors and has been instrumental in mentoring other operations whenever she is needed. Rhonda ensures her staff are also experts in the business in order to provide high quality services to the individuals they serve. The Illinois operation is always a leader in both quality and compliance while also demonstrating strong financial performance year-over-year.
