Rachael Kurzer Givens is the chief compliance officer at BrightSpring Health Services. She has been a part of BrightSpring’s quality and regulatory compliance team for more than 20 years.
Rachael has served in multiple leadership roles for the company and is a valued and trusted leader here at BrightSpring.
Rachael’s years of expertise in our organization’s compliance practices and efforts include defining and supporting internal policies and procedures to assure that we are compliant with local, state, federal and third-party laws and regulations, managing audits and investigations in regulatory and compliance issues, and responding to requests for information from regulatory organizations.
Before joining BrightSpring, she was a quality enhancement coordinator for a multistate intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) provider. After an acquisition, Rachael continued as director of quality management during her first years at BrightSpring.
Rachael earned her Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. She is also certified in health care compliance and is a Louisville Health Care Fellow.
