Daryn Demeritt

Daryn Demeritt is senior vice president, Government Relations for BrightSpring Health Services. Demeritt has been with BrightSpring since 2008, leading the company’s national regulatory and legislative advocacy initiatives.

Demeritt started his political career while at the University of New Hampshire, working on a series of local, state and presiden­tial campaigns before moving into various roles in the Maine legislature. In Washington, D.C., Demeritt began what has now been over 15 years of work in human services public policy.

Demeritt launched multiple national initiatives for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), before founding a consulting firm that did local, state and federal work for UCP, American Network of Community Op­tions and Resources (ANCOR), BrightSpring and various corporate clients. Daryn is also a vice president on the Ronald McDonald House of Kentuckiana’s board, is a Louisville Health Care Fellow, was honored by ANCOR in 2016 as its “Advocate of the Year” and recently selected to participate in Leadership Louisville’s 40th anniversary class.
