Jeff Hopper has served as legal counsel to BrightSpring Health Services for almost 10 years and has been leading our legal department since November, 2024, all while continuing as a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Mr. Hopper plays a key role in driving our strategic growth and contributes invaluable expertise to our organization.
Mr. Hopper is a business lawyer with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity finance, governance, executive compensation, and commercial contracting, with a special focus on healthcare.
Mr. Hopper has practiced law at his firm for 29 years. In addition to practicing law, he also served on his firm’s Management Committee and as partner in charge of legal personnel. In those roles he has been instrumental in the management and growth of his law firm.
Early in his career, Mr. Hopper worked in the financial services industry as a commercial loan officer.
Mr. Hopper holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a business degree from the IU Kelley School of Business. Mr. Hopper is a boys high school tennis coach (his team won the Indiana state title in 2024), serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and served on the board and as president of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships (a men’s professional tennis tournament that is now played in Atlanta, Georgia).
