BrightSpring Health Services / May 7, 2025

BrightSpring Health Services, a leading provider of home and community-based health services for complex populations, is proud to continue investing in the academic journeys of high-potential, underserved students through its annual BrightSpring Brighter Futures Scholarship and BrightSpring Hospice Nursing Scholarship. This year, these awards recognize three exceptional students for their academic excellence, compassion, and dedication to service.

BrightSpring has selected Yaquelin Trejo Vazquez of Louisville, Kentucky, as the recipient of the 2025 Brighter Futures Scholarship. The Company has also awarded the Hospice Nursing Scholarship to Abby Walz of Lewisport, Kentucky, and Chukwudi Ifeoma Linda, a resident of Nigeria, who are pursuing nursing careers in palliative and end-of-life care.

The Brighter Futures Scholarship is $10,000 per year and renewable for up to four consecutive years ($40,000 in total) for one deserving student. The Hospice Nursing Scholarship awards $5,000 per year for up to two years ($10,000 in total) for deserving students who are enrolled in an accredited RN or BSN nursing program.

Both scholarships are awarded in partnership with the Community Foundation of Louisville and are part of BrightSpring’s ongoing effort to expand educational opportunities to deserving students with financial need.
