ResCare Community Living Direct Support Professional, Richard Rumiche, was featured in the Glendale News-Press during DSP Recognition Week for his outstanding 15 years of service as a DSP.
The article highlighted Ricardo’s dedication to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as his commitment to creating safe and welcoming environments where clients, colleagues, and communities can thrive.
In the piece, Ricardo reflected on his career:
“I’m grateful to be recognized by my Glendale community for the care I take pride in providing my clients each day. Over the past 15 years, I’ve found that working in direct care truly fulfills me, and I feel fortunate to have a career that helps me to give back and serve my community. It is my goal to create a safe and happy space for my clients to live in, my colleagues to work in, and my community to thrive in. I hope my work empowers more individuals to overcome their challenges and achieve a life of independence.”
Ricardo’s leadership and compassion are well-known among his colleagues, and he is recognized for quietly stepping up whenever needed.
