ResCare Community Living Residential Manager Osman Conteh has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Middletown, OH.
Osman won the 2025 ANCOR DSP of the Year Award for Ohio. He is an active participant in all of his clients’ plan meetings and works with the team to create outcomes that focus on each client’s likes and goals.
Osman has a good relationship with clients, family members, guardians, staff, and peers. He does everything with patience, grace, and positivity and is an example to staff and coworkers. Osman has personalized the home to reflect each client’s interest with personalized bedrooms. They all love football and have items from their favorite team in the home décor. He ensures that clients practice good hygiene and look their best. Osman has set and maintained high expectations that his staff are happy to follow.
Osman’s home supports eight clients with high medical needs, including two clients with tracheostomies. Osman never lets physical limitations stop the clients from living their best lives. He ensures the clients go out in the community as much as possible and visit all of their favorite places, including baseball games, carnivals, dances, parties, shopping, and restaurants. He even ensured they could attend a prom event and arranged for a nurse to accompany them in order to support the clients’ medical needs at the event.
