ResCare Community Living Area Supervisor Terrell Sweet has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Dayton, OH.
Terrell has helped several clients find jobs in the community by exploring local employment opportunities, assisting them with interviews, and ensuring they are prepared and confident. Many of these clients are now proudly earning their own money and building connections with others in the local area. Terrell also attends meetings to review progress and helps teach and train other staff on each client’s plan to ensure continued success.
Throughout the year, Terrell plans events that bring families, friends, and neighbors together, including birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and Sunday dinners. He also organizes themed gatherings such as paint nights, movie nights, and community events on the home’s basketball court. He supports clients in developing meaningful friendships and enjoying social experiences like going on dates. Families consistently praise Terrell for his strong communication, creativity, and dedication to fostering lasting relationships.
