BrightSpring Health Services (BrightSpring) and the Community Foundation of Louisville are again accepting applications for their Brighter Futures Scholarship. The scholarship, which launched in 2021, is part of BrightSpring’s ongoing efforts to bring opportunities to talented individuals and those in need.
The Brighter Futures Scholarship application is open to everyone who demonstrates financial need, has a grade point average of 3.0 and is enrolled in an accredited nonprofit post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship is awarded annually, consists of $10,000 per year and is renewable for up to four consecutive years to a deserving student.
The application deadline is 11:59 pm EST on Friday, April 1, 2022, and the recipient will be announced in May.

LeAnn Rivera, who is studying nursing at the University of Louisville, was last year’s Brighter Futures Scholarship recipient.
“The Brighter Futures Scholarship has been an important part of my journey to become a nurse,” said Rivera. “As the first person in my family to attend college, I am extremely grateful for the scholarship and am excited to continue towards graduation and a rewarding career serving others.”
