Dr. William Mills will be presenting a study titled “Provision of Home-Based Primary Care to Individuals With IDD is Associated With A Significant Improvement in Clinical Outcomes” at the 2022 American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) Conference.

The study hypothesized that provision of home-based primary care to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disability may be associated with improvements in clinical outcomes. With the addition of home-based primary care services, the hospitalization rate decreased by 44%, the 30-day readmission rate decreased by 84%, and annualized days spent at home increased by 6 days per year between January and December 2021.
