Every year, Business First compiles a list of the largest privately-owned companies in the Greater Louisville area by revenue. As BrightSpring Health Services celebrates its one-year anniversary this month, the company is proud to be showcased at the very top of this prestigious list.
The past year has been a time of positive and continuous company change and transformation for BrightSpring, underpinned by tangible milestones and advancements in field operations and corporate functions. The company strategically re-named, re-branded and re-structured in August 2018 to become the parent company for a family of nonclinical, clinical and ancillary service brands. Then in March 2019, BrightSpring merged with PharMerica to become one of the country’s largest providers of diversified home and community-based health and pharmacy services to medically complex and high-need populations, serving more than 300,000 individuals in 47 states every day.
