BrightSpring is proud to announce that All Ways Caring HomeCare employee Tammy Berry is the recipient of the $1,000 2022 National Home Care Aide Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded by The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC), in partnership with CellTrak, and was created to recognize home care aides who are vital to the industry.
Tammy is an excellent caregiver. She is dependable, loved by her client, whom she sees seven days a week, and always has a cheerful, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Tammy recently lost her home and two vehicles to a fire, leaving herself, her twin 16-year-old sons, and her elderly mother scrambling for somewhere to stay. She made sure her family got out of the home safely and got all her scrubs and work shoes out so she could still go to work the next morning. She went to see her client on time the next morning and has not missed a single day with that client since.
She is still dealing with things post-fire but is so dedicated to her client and this company that she has made sure not to miss a shift. She is a great example to our other caregivers and sets the bar high
