ResCare Community Living Executive Director Jaela Nichelson has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Fort Wayne, IN.
Jaela joined the ResCare Community Living team 20 years ago and is the winner of the 2023 Community Living Divisional Growth Award. Throughout her tenure, Jaela has continuously demonstrated high standards for growth and quality of work within the company.
In 2022, Jaela’s operation led the Community Living Division in census growth with an increase of 103. Her team also led the division for growth in Family Living, providing more community awareness events and developing “Own the Road” tactics to further their growth in the future. This process of continued development is called The Fort Wayne Operation and has lead to the recruitment of more Host Home providers than any other operation.
Jaela partnered with Business Development Manager Danielle Henry for work on this new endeavor. The two comprised a business plan, established service-line opportunities, and formed metrics to measure success within the operation.
