ResCare Community Living Direct Support Professional Sue Foltz has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Lincoln, NE.
Sue is a winner of the 2023 ANCOR DSP of the Year Award for Nebraska. She has been a valued member of the ResCare Community Living community for six years and has excelled as a DSP, supporting clients with mental health diagnoses.
Clients rely on Sue to be there for them, and she is happy to take them to community outings or help them complete tasks. Sue uses gentle redirection and constant encouragement to help the individuals she supports achieve their goals.
Sue is always finding new activities for her clients. She encourages them to find new places in their community and assists them with gardening, exercise groups, garage sales, cooking, dancing, and more. Area Supervisor Bridget Wold says, “She has a great personality that makes her the person everyone wants to be around.”
