PharMerica Pharmacist Consultant Katherine Grueb has been Working Smart and Doing Good in North Kingstown, RI.
Katherine joined PharMerica eight years ago and began working in operations at the Warwick, RI, pharmacy. She transitioned to consulting in 2020 and currently serves as Consultant Pharmacist for Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
Most of Katherine’s typical day consists of reviewing resident charts and other electronic medical records. She also travels to other facilities to provide necessary on-site services such as medication storage audits, narcotic documentation audits, medication pass observations, and in-service education.
Katherine knows her business and believes the most impactful part of her position is the clinical difference she is able to make in people’s lives everyday. She recognizes the important role her influence can have on a patient’s treatment, and works to make the best decisions possible so that they can live their best lives.
