As we conclude Nurses Month, we highlight ResCare Community Living Registered Nurse Cherrica Lindsay, who has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Gore, VA.
This August, Cherrica will complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Shenandoah University. While completing her undergraduate degree at the same university in 2014, she began working as a DSP for Community Alternatives Virginia.
Early in her career, Cherrica worked in day programs, progressive care, emergency and trauma, and labor and delivery as she discovered her passion for health care. She rejoined Community Alternatives Virginia in 2017 as a Registered Nurse collaborating with the skilled nursing service.
Cherrica has found her place within the industry. She works in many areas of the behavioral health sector, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential services, among others. She continues to further her education, refine her capabilities, and develop avid support for evidence-based practice and client dignity.
Cherrica, you know how to Get Going. Not only do you know your business, but you have dedicated yourself to advancing that knowledge to better serve others. Thank you!
