To celebrate Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week, we’d like to highlight several team members who are Working Smart and Doing Good while supporting clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD). Starting us off is Community Living DSP Linda Udovich from Elyria, Ohio. Linda recently received the Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA) Direct Support Professional Award for her district and will be recognized at an awards ceremony in October.
Linda has been a DSP with our organization for more than 30 years. Each morning, she Gets Going!, ensuring everyone in the home is up and prepared for a successful day. She incorporates person-centered planning by keeping each individual’s specific wants and needs in mind while making decisions.
“With her decades of experience, Linda has just about seen it all and will not hesitate to lend a hand,” shared Area Supervisor Jamie Nowak. “She has helped so many individuals live fulfilling lives through achieving their goals and learning to believe in themselves along the way.”
Great work, Linda. Thank you for choosing to leave your LEGACY with us for more than 33 years. Congratulations on earning this distinction for your efforts. To all of our Direct Support Professionals, we’d like to wish you a happy DSP Recognition Week. Thank you for the outstanding work you do to help people live their best lives.
