ResCare Community Living Executive Director Michael Shepherd has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Terre Haute, IN.
Michael has been a part of ResCare Community Living for 13 years, serving as a Residential Manager, QIDP, and Program Manager before his promotion to Executive Director in 2015. Since his promotion, Michael has assisted Terre Haute in achieving and maintaining high compliance scores, including a 100% HR compliance score on the operation’s most recent Compliance Audit.
Michael received the 2023 Community Living People Award in recognition of his purposeful, innovative, mission-driven, and results-oritented leadership with measurable high performance. He acts as a leader within the division, and has consistently retained a higher-than-average employee engagement score while also leading the division in net hires for 2022.
