This week we also acknowledge Child Welfare Worker Appreciation Week. StepStone Family & Youth Services Case Manager Peyton Stanley has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Richmond, VA.
Peyton leads by example, working to inspire others. She shares her knowledge and encouragement with everyone, especially in training and mentoring new staff. Peyton brings positivity to her team and the organization overall.
Peyton demonstrates unwavering commitment and dedication to her work. To maintain stability for one client with attachment issues, she chose to continue supporting that child after disruption, driving four hours away to help ensure that child had a smooth transition. She goes above and beyond what is expected of her for the benefit of children and their families.
Peyton holds herself to a high standard of care and supports families in a trauma-informed manner. Her collaboration with referral sources and dedication to the well-being of children and their families has resulted in positive feedback from multiple legal guardians.
