We are committed to investing in people to help them achieve their aims and reach their goals. We believe in the power of education and have created further opportunities to support and recognize under-reached students, helping them to excel academically, through the BrightSpring Brighter Futures Scholarship and the BrightSpring Hospice Nursing Scholarship in partnership with the Community Foundation of Louisville.
These scholarships are open to everyone – employees, their children, clients, friends, and members of our communities – who meet the following criteria.
The BrightSpring Brighter Futures Scholarship awards one $10,000 per year scholarship renewable for up to four years as long as the student maintains Good Academic Standing with their college or university.
The BrightSpring Hospice Nursing Scholarship awards four $5,000 per year scholarships renewable for up to two years as long as the student maintains Good Academic Standing with their college or university. This scholarship program was created in memory of a beloved friend and colleague, Ron Bookman, through a partnership between Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy and NASP. The scholarship is awarded to students for their academic achievement, a commitment to serving others, a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities. It is open to college students from any field of study who meet the following criteria:
The Ron Bookman Memorial Scholarship awards three non-renewable $2,500 scholarships each year that may be used for tuition, fees, and/or books.
The Stephanie Carroll Memorial Scholarship Awards are in memory of Stephanie Carroll, a long-time valued NADONA/LTC employee. The scholarships are intended for nursing students enrolled in an accredited nursing program or in an undergraduate program who have chosen long-term care or geriatrics as their practice area after graduation. The program provides $20,000 in scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, which are paid directly to a recipient’s college/university to assist with their nursing education. Nursing students in an undergraduate or graduate program are also eligible to apply.
