Daryn Demeritt
Senior Vice President, Government Relations
Daryn Demeritt serves as Senior Vice President of Government Relations for BrightSpring Health Services. Mr. Demeritt has been with BrightSpring since 2008, leading the company’s national regulatory and legislative advocacy initiatives.
He began his political career at the University of New Hampshire, working on a series of local, state, and presidential campaigns before moving into various roles in the Maine legislature. In Washington, D.C., Mr. Demeritt began what has now been over 15 years of work in human services public policy.
Demeritt launched multiple national initiatives for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), before founding a consulting firm that did local, state, and federal work for UCP, American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR), BrightSpring, and various corporate clients. Daryn is also a vice president on the Ronald McDonald House of Kentuckiana’s board, is a Louisville Health Care Fellow, and was honored by ANCOR in 2016 as “Advocate of the Year.”
