Jon Rousseau

Chairperson

Jon Rousseau is President and Chief Executive Officer of BrightSpring Health Services and has been a member of our board of directors since September 2016. 

Before joining BrightSpring, Mr. Rousseau was Executive Vice President at Kindred Healthcare, Inc. with multiple leadership roles from June 2013 – July 2016, including President of Kindred Rehabilitation Services and before that President of the Care Management Division and Kindred at Home, Kindred’s home health, hospice, home care, and home-based primary care businesses.

Mr. Rousseau has held several senior leadership positions at other market-leading healthcare product and technology companies, including Vice President of global marketing, strategy, and commercial development at Mylan, Inc. and Global Senior Director of the continuous glucose monitoring franchise with Medtronic PLC from 2006 – 2013.

For the first part of his career, Mr. Rousseau worked at Friedman Fleischer & Lowe LLC in private equity from 1998 – 2005 and at Morgan Stanley in investment banking from 1996 – 1998.

Mr. Rousseau earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. degree from Princeton University. Mr. Rousseau’s extensive executive and leadership experience in the healthcare industry and his multi-disciplinary background make him an excellent fit to serve on our board of directors.
