Adoration Home Health Branch Director Joella Wilson has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Union City, TN. Named the Branch Director LEGACY in Action honoree for the West Region, she offers the kind of Leadership that lifts her own branch and then keeps going.

Joella works hand in hand with her Director of Clinical Practice to uphold the highest clinical standards at her branch. She empowers her team by making sure they have the support and resources they need to succeed, which is much of the reason the culture within is collaborative and accountable at once. Those two qualities do not automatically coexist, and keeping both in the room takes steady attention.

What she has built has not stayed local. Joella regularly trains colleagues at other locations in the practices that work for her team, giving away what she has learned rather than guarding it. For patients across northwest Tennessee that means care from clinicians who are well prepared and well supported, and for families served by the branches she has coached, it means the same standard is beginning to spread. Her dedication to helping others succeed is why so much of what she does ends up benefiting people she will never meet.
