During a bedside visit at the hospital, a patient told Dana about the bind he was in; recently hospitalized, paying more for a hotel room than many people pay for a mortgage, with no permanent place to land. Dana felt she had to help. She turned to the network she built over years of events at senior living communities, made a call, and within weeks had found him an affordable two-bedroom apartment at a fraction of what the hotel was costing him.

He called her in tears, finally able to picture life with a little breathing room instead of scraping by for a place to rest. Dana waves off the credit. Moments like this, she says, are what set the team apart.
